ToastedAFK Subregion Guide

Welcome to the ToastedAFK Subregion Guide! Subregions allow you to create custom regions within the Minecraft world, each with unique properties, permissions, and behaviors. In this guide, we'll walk you through the configuration and usage of subregions.

  2. Placing Subregion Blocks

  3. Unique Block Identifiers

  4. Managing Subregions

  5. Permissions for Subregions

  6. Custom Subregion Commands

  7. Finding Subregions

1. Obtaining Subregion Blocks

To create a subregion, you'll first need subregion blocks. These blocks represent the boundaries of your custom region. You can obtain subregion blocks through various means, such as crafting, receiving them from other players, or participating in events. At the moment, all the subregion blocks have a radius of 3.

2. Placing Subregion Blocks

Once you have subregion blocks, you can place them in the Minecraft world to define the boundaries of your subregion. Follow these steps:

  • Hold the subregion block in your hand.

  • Right-click on the desired locations.

  • Each placed block will be assigned a unique block identifier. (at the bottom of the lore)

3. Unique Block Identifiers

Every subregion block is assigned a unique block identifier. This identifier distinguishes one subregion from another, ensuring each subregion has a unique identity. These identifiers are automatically generated when you place a subregion block.

4. Managing Subregions

Creating a Subregion

  1. Obtain subregion blocks.

  2. Place the blocks to define the subregion boundaries.

  3. A unique block identifier will be assigned to your subregion.

Removing a Subregion

  1. Break any subregion block within the subregion.

  2. The subregion will be removed, and its unique identifier freed up for future use.

5. Permissions for Subregions

Subregions can have custom permissions and behaviors defined in the plugin's configuration file. Permissions allow or restrict actions within the subregion, such as building, breaking, or interacting with blocks.

6. Custom Subregion Commands

The plugin offers custom commands that can be executed within subregions. Players can create unique commands and actions triggered when specific conditions are met. For example:

  • /silentgive {player} {item} {amount} {true/false}: This command gives a player an item with a specific amount. The last argument, true or false, determines whether the block is part of a subregion.

7. Finding Subregions

Command: /tafk subregion find (block_id)

  • Use this command with a specific block identifier to find the block's location within the subregion.

  • It provides you with the location coordinates where the block is placed.

Now that you understand the basics of subregions, you can start creating your custom regions within the Minecraft world. Use subregion blocks to define boundaries, assign permissions, and customize behaviors to enhance your gameplay experience.

Have fun exploring and experimenting with subregions in ToastedAFK!
